A collection of scans of cover art of Virginia Tech football game programs.

Founded in 1872 as Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College (VAMC), the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VPI & SU), popularly known as Virginia Tech (VT), is a public land-grant university with the main campus in Blacksburg, Virginia, with other research and educational centers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, the National Capital Region, and international locations in Switzerland and the Dominican Republic.

I began collecting Virginia Tech football programs in 1992. At first, I was collecting game programs from the games that I personally attended. Then one day I bought a 1928 Virginia Tech vs Colgate program at a local antique shop. The rest is, as they say, "history". This set of vintage memorabilia includes game programs from NCAA-sanctioned (collegiate) football games that are in my collection only. I know that there are a lot more game programs in Virgina Tech Library Special Collections. The scans displayed here are only of those programs that are in my possession and are intended to be no more than a general point of reference.
