On the night of May 23rd, I went out with intent to try to capture a May Camelopardalids meteor shower. Regretfully, especially in light of all of the hype surrounding this new meteor shower, it turned out to be a dud. Although disappointed, I've decided to stay on for a little while longer to see if I could capture any star trails. Well, the result is below, let me know what you think.
A star stack combination of 389 photos (including dark frames and compensation shots) was completed using StarStaX and the video was made using StarTrails software. The duration of photoshoot was a little over three and a half hours. I posted this photo on my facebook page but I wanted to add a video made of the same stack of images. The video is kind of dark and you will need to watch it at 1080p to really see the movement of stars.
Watch the video (make sure you watch at full screen and 1080p resolution or you will not be able to see the stars)
