Often, I take somewhere around 800-900 photos during a given basketball game. That includes game action, half-time entertainment, and presentations by Tech's spirit squads, High Techs and Cheerleaders. Out of 800 photos, I typically select a couple of hundred and then post about half of that number in the gallery. Through user feedback, I know that 1) nobody wants to look through a 300-images gallery, and 2) about 100 images per gallery being seemingly the most optimal. As a result, a lot of interesting photos ("big hair" in particular) are deleted without ever seeing the light of day. A Holiday Cheer Special is a small compilation of some photos (in this case from the last few home basketball games) that did not make into a final gallery of a particular game, but at the same time I didn't feel like discarding yet.  Anyway...
