A set of 150+ photos from Virginia Tech (Hokies) football game against University of Tennessee (Volunteers), which took place on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Game's attendance of 156,990 was the largest crowd in the history of college football to date. Previous record: 115,109, Sept. 7, 2013 (Notre Dame at Michigan). To see the rest of the photos click on links to photogallery or on any image in this blog post. The gallery includes several photos that were contributed by my folks at Clubhouse Tailgate, an eclectic group of my friends with whom I tailgate. Special thanks to R. Achenbach, E. Doss, and G. Wilson. Thank you, guys!
If you enjoy my photography, please consider purchasing a 2017 Virginia Tech Photo Calendar or my book of Virginia Tech photography (Virginia Tech: A Pictorial Tour). You will gain a wonderful coffee-table book to enjoy and to show your guests and at the same time enable me to continue with my photography. Until the end of August you can purchase Calendars at a reduced price ("early bird special"). Just to clarify - I am NOT a professional photographer, just an amateur like yourself, perhaps. Your support is really what is driving all of this.
