Virginia Tech held another open scrimmage in Lane Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The big takeaways are that Michael Brewer continued to play well, and the defense showed improvement. Last week, the defense was crushed. Bud’s unit allowed over 500 yards of offense and a whopping 10 touchdowns. You can bet that he wasn’t happy after such a performance, and I’m sure he let his players know about it during the week.
